Sustainable design has been a topic within my studies at AUCB, and by taking inspiration from simple pleasures, as a child I would make twig boats out of the branches cut from the hedges at home to create decorations that would sway in the wind at springtime. Back then I would weave patterns in coloured thread but by utilising hemp thread instead the piece is now fully biodegradable.
